Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had arrhythmia for as long as I can remember and was able to control it through concentrated breathing but as of late, I am unable to. One week back I had an episode at work that left my left arm extremely tired and tingly at times. I went to the ER and was found to be fine but was referred to a cardiologist who I have not heard from or can get in contact with as of yet. My employer wants me to get approval to return to work. I work four 12-hour shifts. I am a 33-year-old male. I take over-the-counter magnesium. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern. Which type of arrhythmia do you have? Most arrhythmias are not life-threatening but may have bothersome symptoms. Please share your ECG (echocardiography) or any other workup so that I may guide you accordingly. Also, tell me your symptoms. Any family history of arrhythmia or sudden death? Any personal history of syncope? Thanks and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
