Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My baby is one-year-old. He bangs his head on the wall or floor when he is upset. I want to know whether it happens due to any health issue or if it is normal.
Please suggest.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
It is one of the most common behavior problem seen in children. Kids do it when they are frustrated, when they are attention seeking, and when they have a stubborn behavior. Rarely, it can be a part of a hyperactivity complex.
It is commonly treated with behavioral therapy. So there is nothing much to worry about it.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
