Hello doctor,
I am experiencing lower back pain, characterized by sharp discomfort, exacerbated by movement.
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
Please adhere to the following instructions for managing your lower back pain:
Avoid lifting heavy weights.
Refrain from arching your back; instead, bend your knees when picking up objects from the floor.
Limit prolonged sitting periods.
Avoid riding two-wheelers.
Improve your sitting posture.
Take short breaks from sitting every 20 minutes, stand up, and take a brief walk before resuming work. Ensure your chair provides adequate back support.
Avoid sudden movements when getting up from a lying position; turn to your side before rising.
If experiencing severe pain, opt for bed rest.
Apply hot compressions locally over the affected area at least twice daily.
Apply Oxalgin gel (Diclofenac sodium, Methyl salicylate, and Menthol) topically twice daily.
In addition to these measures, take the following medications:
Tablet Pregabalin (75mg) once a day at night for 10 days before meals.
Tablet Ibuprofen (400 mg) twice a day for 10 days after meals.
Tablet Rabeprazole (20 mg) twice a day for 10 days before meals.
Tablet Shelcal (500 mg) (Calcium and vitamin D3 )twice a day for 30 days before meals.
Tablet Vitamin D (60 K units) once daily for 10 days, then once a month for 11 months. Consult your doctor and take the medications accordingly.
Please note:
Only take these tablets if you are not allergic to them.
Do not take these tablets if you have bronchial asthma.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any adverse reactions.
Avoid jogging, running, and weight-lifting exercises, as they may exacerbate your back problems.
I hope this information will help you.
Thank you.
