Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have some white marks and spots on my vagina. I am not sexually active. These are itchy and do cause irritation and sometimes pimples with pus. Kindly help me with the treatment.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have seen the images you have attached (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), and I have gone through the details presented by you. I would like to know a few details. Since when are you experiencing this problem? Did it start after some shaving, any exercise you started recently, or after changing undergarments brand, detergent or soap, etc.?

Based on the details presented, I suggest using a V Wash (Lactic acid) to clean the area. Keep the area dry and observe good hygiene. You can apply Surfaz SN cream (Beclometasone, Neomycin, and Clotrimazole) locally. You can use gentle soap and detergent to wash the undergarments. You can use only cotton undergarments.

Would you please share the details asked so that I can suggest a better treatment, and feel free to ask any questions.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been observing this for the past six months. It is not after shaving, and I am a sweaty person. There has been no such change of clothes or undergarment brands, but I keep changing my body washes. Is it something serious or concerning? Can this be cured or brought back to normal?

Please let me know about the things that I should follow and give me a detailed description.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

There is nothing to panic, use some gentle soap like V Wash and cotton undergarments. Avoid activities that cause sweat in the area.

Just maintain good hygiene. If you had been sexually active, I would have suspected some STD (sexually transmitted disease). But in this case, according to the details presented by you, there is no such risk.

Do not worry, and feel free to ask any questions or to share any additional information.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
