Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My son is in his 20s now. He often has bleeding while brushing. Unfortunately, he is very ignorant about this. I keep pestering him to go to a dentist, which he refuses to do.
Since he had a horrible experience in the past, he is still scared and unwilling to go to the dentist.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your query and can understand your concern.
The teeth and gums need thorough cleaning by a dentist to remove all calculus and plaque. Inflamed gums cause bleeding. The cleaning procedure is painless, so motivate him to go. You can use mouthwash and a warm saltwater gargle twice daily to reduce inflammation.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Thank you.
