Hello doctor,
I had sex without a condom with my partner approximately four to five days back. Later, I noticed sores and blisters on the tip and inside my penis. It is red, itching, and very irritating. I used curd, aloe vera, and Neosporin powder, but there was no relief. Kindly suggest some ointment to heal the affected area. There is no discharge as such, but have pain while urinating sometimes. I have a mild fever and feel low. The problem started four days ago. She had a white discharge. I had the affected area clean and dry from yesterday, which has reduced the itching. However, it is still red and the color of the urine is normal. I had this problem three months back, but after applying aloe vera it was cured. I am a 24-year-old male. Please help.

I went through your history and there is nothing to worry about. Maintain hygiene; you can apply aloe vera and curd as you had done earlier. Abstain from sexual intercourse for at least 4 weeks. I suggest you and your partner take Tab Doxycycline 100 mg two times a day for five days. Consult your doctor and take the medicine accordingly. I feel that this will solve the problem. Observe for three days after starting the drug. If it persists, kindly follow up. So that we can decide on further investigations.
