How fast can one recover after a brain hemorrhage?

My mother has diabetes and high blood pressure and suffered a brain hemorrhage a few days back at the right-side parietal lobe of the brain. As a result, her right side arm and leg are not working properly. What should I do? How long will it take for the recovery? Kindly help.
