What could be the probable cause of bruising, red spots, and pain in the breasts in addition to general body aches?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am actually scared right now. Last night, I noticed that my breasts were extremely sore. I looked in the mirror and realized I have a few small bruises on both breasts. I also noticed a red spot, similar to a rash, but it is not raised, itchy, or bothering me at all. I figured it might go away by morning so I went to bed. But I woke up today, and my breasts are even more sore. They are tender to the touch and they feel heavier. I also noticed that I am kind of sore all over today. In my armpits, my inner thighs, and my stomach. I called my doctor for an appointment but his office is closed today and for the rest of the weekend, I am just scared about what this might be so I do not know what to do.

Please help me.

Thanks and regards.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

If it is due to your periods, then this soreness and discomfort are not a problem. This could be because of hormonal changes and nothing else. Also, get a urine pregnancy test done with an early morning urine sample to ensure that you are not pregnant. Usually, these symptoms are more common when you are in the early stages of pregnancy.

  1. Avoid touching breasts more frequently.
  2. Wear cotton innerwear and loosen it up.

If the pain becomes severe, then visit doctor and get yourself checked. Do get back to me with reports so that I can guide you further.

I hope it helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
