Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had COVID-19 two years ago, which left me with pleurisy, and now again infected with COVID-19 four weeks ago. I have noticed shortness of breath, especially since I have a cold. I am struggling to breathe normally and do daily activities. In addition, I am feeling dizzy and extreme exhaustion.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Following is my opinion on your question.
You are having a shortness of breath problem. If you have it after doing exercise, then no need to worry. As in COVID-19, it is common to have it for a few days. But if you feel breathless without any exertion, then further evaluation needs to be done by a chest X-ray and spirometry. For spirometry, you must visit a nearby pulmonologist for a detailed chest examination. If required, after examination doctor will suggest you on bronchodilators or a mild steroid dose.
I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best regards.
