Hello doctor,
This has been an ongoing issue for a year after unprotected oral sex. I am 31 years old and was not very sexually active previously. I have had no issues previously, so I am quite sure that this was a result of the sexual contact. The primary concern is the appearance of the penis. There are raised bumps, which are much more noticeable when erect. The pictures do not really do justice, they are all over, very noticeable, and have become worse over time. One or two can be seen when not erect. This has all developed since having oral sex. Secondly, I have intermittent stinging pain and a burning sensation in the urethra, which lasts 1 or 2 hours and then goes away. Any sort of frequent masturbation (more than once a day) makes the skin quite angry and red. Other symptoms include the need to pee more, irritated meatus, sore anus (never did anal), and dry and itchy scrotum.
On the gland, there is one red or pink (not raised) spot and two black spots like moles. One of them was there since I was 16, and the other appeared after this sexual contact. They have not changed in size or color. There are changes in semen texture, it becomes yellow all the time. Sometimes it is very watery and sometimes it is thick. Before I had some gel-like globules in my semen but they disappeared.
After 6 months of this sexual contact, I went to a doctor to check for lower abdominal pain and to check for unusual (a lot) precum noticed in my underwear each time erected (even not fully erected). The doctor suspected an STD and she was 90 % sure it was Gonorrhoea or Chlamydia, so I did tests for the different STDs but all of them came back negative. Also, before the test result (I do not know why) she gave me an antibiotic injection and another antibiotic tablet. After one week of taking these antibiotics, the precum problem was solved and back to normal, but I started noticing these bumps on the gland described above. (The abdominal pain disappeared the same day I visited the doctor). Before, I used to masturbate a lot. Could this be just irritated skin or is this related to an infection? Please can you advise me on what I should do?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
These are pearly penile papules. They are pearly white dome-shaped papules present on coronal margins and on the glans penis. They are seen more commonly in uncircumcised males. Differential diagnoses are hypertrophic sebaceous glands and condyloma acuminata.
No treatment is necessary. However, if you want to go for a treatment, laser ablation or shave excision can be done.
They are angiofibroma that occurs in 50 percent of males. They are skin-colored, smooth rounded 1 to 3 mm papules. Cryotherapy or electrofulguration may be the treatment of choice.
1. Wash genitals daily with Episoft cleanser or No soap cleanser.
2. Avoid scratching and rubbing and avoid friction or injury.
3. Practise safe sex and use barriers.
4. If burning on urination, I suggest the tablet Norfloxacin 400 mg once a day after dinner for five days and syrup Cital (disodium hydrogen citrate) 3 ml twice daily for seven days.
5. Get a urine routine culture and sensitivity test done.
Follow up with reports.
Hope this helps.
Thanks and take care.
