My penis has burning sensation after masturbation. Why?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 32-year-old. My testicles were paining initially. And after I consulted a medical doctor, he gave me a medicine tablet Ultracet. However, I am cured of this, but worrying me is a feeling of burning sensation in my penis. The doctor for the same had suggested I take Uribid 100 tablet twice a day, and along with it, he also prescribed me to take Nervomin Plus once a day. I just wanted to know as to whether these three medicines are sufficient to treat the burning sensation problem of my penis.? Why is there a burning sensation in my penis after I masturbate? Please do let me know. I am a little worried as I am going to marry after two months. Will it affect my sexual life or cause infertility? Kindly give your opinion.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You need not worry about your sexual life much, but I will advise you not to take any medicine except antibiotics without going through an investigation test. The probable causes are urinary stones, cystitis, or appendicitis. Clean the genital area with antiseptic and drink a lot of liquids.

I suggest you do the following tests:

1) X-ray of abdomen and pelvis.

2) CT (computed tomography) scan of abdomen and pelvis.

3) Laparoscopy.

4) Blood test.

5) Urinalysis.

Please follow-up after the test reports come as soon as possible because it can cause you serious problems in the future. I hope this was helpful.
