Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My penis has had a cut, and the spot has become black. I have used Savlon, but it looks like a white pus. There is no itchiness, but it burns when touched.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Share a picture of the affected area. If there was unprotected sex, one must think of sexually transmitted infection.

  1. TPHA (Treponema pallidum hemagglutination).
  2. HPV DNA PCR test.
  3. HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS (HSV) one and two IgG.
  4. Herpes simplex virus (HSV) one and two IgM serum.
  5. Chlamydia trachomatis IgG positive.
  6. HIV one and two antibodies screening tests.
  7. HBsAg.
  8. Urine complete.

If not, it can be a simple bacterial infection - you can use ointment T Bact for local application and Doxy 100 mg twice daily for five days. If there is itching - you need to think of fungal infection - ointment Candid B for local application, and for itching – tablet Cetzin once a night.

Make sure you wash your genitalia twice a day, morning and night, and use normal water, no cold or hot water. Do not use heavy pH soap.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
