Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am recovering from COVID and tested antigen-negative last week by a home-based kit approved by ICMR. I experienced burning sensation while passing urine, and also the urination was less. I underwent KFT and the reports came back normal. However, one of my doctor friends suggested that I take Urispas three times a day and drink more water, which has resolved the issue.
However, I have one question. I had Urispas for one day as per his recommended dose. But I need to confirm for how many days I have to have to take it to complete the treatment. Kindly suggest your opinion.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the reports that you have attached (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). No need to worry as all the reports are normal. You can take it thrice daily. No harm in it. Also, I suggest you to take it for a minimum of five days for effective results.
I hope I have solved your query.
Thank you. Take care.
