Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I do not have burning, but I have only a small pain when moving the jaw and biting. It started about two days ago, and I had a sore throat right before this problem. I did a lot of drinking and smoking lately.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Then it seems to be cheek bite. Your upper teeth might touch your cheek during grinding. Please confirm whether this lesion was there earlier or recently developed.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

It has just recently developed.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Then it seems to be cheek bite only. Do one thing do warm saline rinses, and if possible, visit the dentist and have selective grinding done of first and thirrd molars of both upper and lower jaw. After that, apply Orasole or Oraheal thrice daily for five days. Then show me after a week if there is any improvement or not.

The Probable causes

Teeth biting.

Probable diagnosis

Cheek biting.

Treatment plan

Teeth grinding to decrease horizontal overlap. After that apply Orasole or Oraheal for five days then show me if there is any improvement.

Preventive measures

Avoid spicy foods for two to three days and alcohol for at least two weeks.

Regarding follow up

After seven days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
