Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing chest pain intermittently. I also suffer from acidity, although I am not on any medication. I was advised to have an ECG, which showed some minor variations, and then I was advised to undergo a TMT, which was normal.
Please advise me. Why do I have chest pains, and why is my ECG not considered normal?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Chest pain can occur due to various causes, such as heart problems, lung issues, muscle strains, bone conditions, or stomach problems. Your TMT (treadmill test) is normal, indicating that your heart condition is likely healthy. The cause of your chest pain may be related to something other than a heart problem. Have you had an echocardiogram? If not, you may consider getting one to rule out any structural heart issues.
Thanks and regards.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
I had my 2D echocardiogram today, and the doctor said it is normal and in good condition. Is there anything I should be concerned about? What could be the reason for the variations in the ECG?
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Regarding your echocardiogram, if your TMT (treadmill test) is normal, then it is less likely that you have any major heart problems. Minor ECG (electrocardiogram) variations can occur in people without any heart issues. Since you mentioned that you have acidity, your chest pain may be related to that.
Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
