Chlorpheniramine

Chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine, is taken to get relief from allergic symptoms. It relieves the symptoms of allergy, hay fever, and the common cold. It works by blocking the work of histamine produced in the body in response to an allergic reaction. It is taken orally and shows its effects after six hours of taking it. The common side effects are sleepiness and restlessness.
