I have reviewed the picture you attached (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity), I must say your throat seems absolutely fine except for the tobacco stains. I do not see any tumors or signs of throat infection or tonsil issues. Although chewing tobacco is bad for your health, it is up to us to either overcome the fear of cancer and continue using tobacco or be carefree and quit the habit. There is no point in living in fear and confusion. The blood from your nose could have been due to a dry nose. Please avoid blowing your nose harshly, and if the inside of your nose is dry, use a simple saline nasal spray and petroleum jelly to keep it moist.
