Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My last period was two months back, and I am pregnant now. I have been having sex with one person, but I had sex with someone else last month. I would like to know if that person is responsible and when I got pregnant?

Answered by Dr. Natasha Bansal

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your concern in detail and will surely help you out.

I would like to know when you had sex with the first person. You mentioned that you had sex with the other person last month. The chances of pregnancy are maximum during your day of ovulation, and if you have a regular 30 days cycle, the day of ovulation would have been in the first week of last month, but if you did not have sex on this day and had sex within two days of it can also lead to pregnancy.

So the chances are that this pregnancy is from the first guy, not the one you had sex once. And the exact date of conception can not be determined by this, but yes, we calculate pregnancy from the first day of your last periods, so you are almost eight weeks pregnant.

I hope this helps.

Kindly revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for replying.

I had swollen feet. I also had a very serious lower back pain for the past two weeks. What to do?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It seems pregnancy is most likely due to having sex with your partner during your ovulation period.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and regards.
