Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have breathlessness, restlessness, swollen stomach, feeling vomiting and constipation.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your health concerns and here is my advice. Swollen stomach could be due to incoming periods taking into account your age and gender, constipation or any other bowel problem, hyperacidity of the stomach. If you are constipated, then, the fecal mass remains inside your bowels for longer period causing enlargement of bowels. The enlarged gut will cause swollen stomach and push diaphragm upside and causing breathlessness and restlessness.

The only solution is to solve constipation through increasing fluids intake, gentle laxatives like senna candies, stool softeners like Lactulose, probiotics to stabilize the intestinal flora, increase fiber intake in food and as a supplement.
