Hi doctor,

I got a throat infection about three weeks back. I got medication for that, and it got cured. But still, I have some cough, and sometimes while blowing my nose, some blood is coming with mucus from the nose, mainly from one side of the nose.

Kindly let me know the following:

1. Do you have a fever at present?

2. Do you have a dry cough or cough with sputum?

3. Is there any headache or nausea?

Thank you so much for your reply.

I do not have a fever, and sometimes I have a dry cough. I do not have any headache or nausea. I feel like something is there in my throat like something congested.

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Please use the following medicines for three days:

1. Tablet Aceclofenac 100 mg one tablet twice daily.

2. Tablet Augmentin (Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid) 625 one tablet twice daily.

3. Tablet Montair Fx (Montelukast and Fexofenadine) one tablet once daily.

4. Otrivin (Xylometazoline Hydrochloride) nasal decongestant spray, one spray in affected nostril three times a day.

5. Syrup Alex (Phenylephrine Hydrochloride and Chlorpheniramine Maleate) one teaspoonful three times a day.

* Do not forcefully blow your nose.

* Use saline warm water gargles.

* Avoid sudden temperature changes.

* Maintain adequate hydration and use medicines after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Use all medicines for three days and then revert for further advice.
