Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
For three days, I have had a sore throat, body pains, weakness, headache, runny nose, and burning eyes. I do not think it is COVID-19, as I was infected only three months back, and it took one month for me to completely recover. I am double vaccinated for COVID-19. I do not use masks when I am in public. Can it be a COVID-19 infection again? Kindly suggest some medicines for my symptoms.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your question.
I understand your concern and would be happy to help. Yes, Covid can reinfect. However, as you are vaccinated, the severity will be mild. So, there is no need to panic. I suggest you follow the below treatment plan. Consult with a specialist doctor, talk to him or her, and take medicines with their consent.
I also suggest you do warm water gargling and steam inhalation four to five times a day.
I hope this helps.
Kindly revert in case of further questions.
I wish you good health.
Thank you.
