This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I would like to seek advice about COVID-19. I got my result online and it says I am positive with COVID-19. However, I do not feel any symptoms. I am currently taking Vitamin C tablets.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It is quite likely that you do not have symptoms since it is about 80% who are asymptomatic. You want to be fully sure, get tested at another lab. The symptoms like fever, cough, throat pain, congestion, loss of taste and smell, breathlessness, diarrhea may appear between fourth to ninth day. If anyone of these symptoms appears, immediately visit or consult the hospital.

Additionally, you could take the following:

1. Tablet Vitamin C 500 mg one tablet twice daily (after lunch, after dinner) for 15 days.

2. Tablet Zinc 50 mg one tablet thrice daily (after breakfast, lunch, dinner) for 15 days.

3. Capsule Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once weekly for six weeks.

4. Tablet Aspirin 81 mg (Bayer Aspirin low dose) one tablet once daily after lunch or dinner for 15 days.

5. Tablet Pepcid plus max strength 20 mg two tablets twice daily (after lunch and dinner) for 15 days.

6. Saccharomyces boulardi daily probiotic capsules 250 mg one capsule twice daily (after lunch, and dinner) for 15 days.

Lifestyle changes include a high protein diet, three to four liters of water, no alcohol, no smoking, and non-soda liquids per day.

I hope this helps.
