Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had very bad dark circles under my eyes since I was around 7 or 8 years old and went to a dermatologist about it once, who said they had something to do with a vein but were not sure how to help. I was wondering if you could shed some light on this. I am 28 years old now and still have dark circles that make me look bad, and I would like to find the best solution to make them go away. Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
It seems you are dealing with a tear-through deformity (the attachment has been removed to protect the patient's identity). A potential solution could be dermal fillers, which you can discuss with your nearest dermatologist. This treatment can offer noticeable improvements. Please do not worry; it is a manageable condition and will improve over time.
Also, are you experiencing any addictions? Reducing stress and ensuring you get a continuous eight-hour sleep each night is crucial for your overall well-being. Eating a balanced, healthy diet can significantly contribute to your recovery and skin health. Taking proper care of yourself will help you see better results.
Once you have completed your treatment, please send us updated photos. We are here to assist you in your journey to recovery.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you, doctor.
I have no addiction, get 6 to 8 hours of sleep, and am not really stressed about much. Do you think the dermal fillers will make the dark circles go away completely? I have never heard of them. What does tear-through deformity mean? I will send pictures after I try it. Just weird that when I was six years old and younger, I never had dark circles, and they appeared afterward.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
90 percent improvement will be seen after fillers. Tear trough deformity is depression below the lower eyelids. The eyelid looks sunken, giving a fatigued appearance. There are four grades of tear-through deformity. You are in grade 1. Multiple treatment options are available, such as fillers, fat grafting, etc., but fillers are enough for you. Filler treatment is not permanent but safe. Its effect lasts about three to six months and requires maintenance. The cause is unknown, genetic, or due to aging. There are lots of people having such problems. They get treatment and feel happy.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
