Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have missed my period for the past two months. After two weeks of my due date, I checked for pregnancy twice. First I got a negative result but today there is a slight pink color second line. I have a 7-year-old kid. I am confused and I am not prepared for the second child. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I suggest you to take serum beta hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) level for confirmation of pregnancy. If the result is positive, take an ultrasound.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor for the reply,

What about the kit result?

Answered by Dr. Natasha Bansal

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

A positive kit result with faint line indicates early pregnancy, abortion, or embryo developing outside uterus. For confirmatory diagnosis, do the tests that I mentioned.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
