Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I do not have lot of money. I would like to avoid unnecessary procedures since my dentist has been recommending a lot of procedures lately. On my treatment plan, I have two partial crowns (onlay on teeth in my lower left side) and three regular composite fillings on teeth 19, 21 (lower left side) and 28 (lower right side). I am attaching X-rays for your reference.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

After seeing the X-rays, it seems you already have filled all cavities. I do not see more cavities which need to be filled. You have two crowns which also seem to be fine. You only need to get routine scaling and polishing of teeth and gums every six months. There is some gum recession also, but you can maintain it like that if you do regular cleanings. You do not need any gum surgeries or other treatments as seen through X-rays. Finally, I will have to get a look in the mouth for more details.

  • Use warm salt water gargle two times a day whenever possible which will reduce further weakening of periodontium.
  • Thank you for consulting me.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
