Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 23-year-old female, and I have been dealing with severe pain in my tooth. I was supposed to have it extracted a few months ago, but I never got around to it. Finally, I went to the dentist yesterday, and they suspect there is an abscess under the tooth. They prescribed antibiotics for me. However, now the pain has spread to my ear and the side of my head. I am unsure if I should see my doctor in addition to the dentist. The dentist believes it is a tooth infection, and that is why they prescribed antibiotics. The pain is affecting my tooth, jaw, ear, and the side of my head. Please help.
