Hi doctor,
My dad is 84-years-old. He is healthy. He is on Telma H, Ecospirin 75 milligrams, Stator 10 milligrams. He is pre- diabetic. He walks regularly for 20 to25 minutes. Today, I found mild breathlessness. I checked spO2 it was 90 (average remains 96 to 97) and pulse 140. Normal BP remains 140/85.

He is facing a cough and throat infection. Electrocardiograph (ECG) and echocardiogram (ECHO) was done one year before.

Your dad's electrocardiograph (ECG) and echocardiography are normal. Most likely signs and symptoms are due to chest infection. His heart rate is 140 which is very high. Please have some basic tests including complete blood count (CBC), ECG, and chest x-ray.If symptoms are severe, then he should visit the hospital.
