Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My daughter is 10 years old. She has been having diarrhea since today morning. What medicine or drops can I administer?

Hi

Welcome to icliniq.com.

A 10-year-old child's average weight is 30 kg. Hence, I suggest the following medicine. Consult your doctor, discuss with him/her and take medication with concern.

Give him half tablet Norflox TZ (Norfloxacin, Tinidazole and Lactobacillus) and twice a day for three days, Syp Zn 20 (5 ml /20 mg - zinc) 5 ml once a day for 14 days, Sporlac sachet one sachet bd for five days and ORS 200 ml per loose stool (oral rehydration solution).

In diet give coconut water, curd, and banana.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
