Hello doctor,
I am 23 years old. I have been experiencing chronic diarrhea and bloating for about two years now, and I noticed that it only stops if I take Omeprazole and Loperamide together. Should I stop the Omeprazole and use just Loperamide? When I try using only Loperamide, the issue persists. On the other hand, if I use Omeprazole alone, it still works. I have been disturbed and do not know if I should continue with Omeprazole.

I recommend undergoing an HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) test, occult blood test, CBC (complete blood count) test, ova and parasite test, and an abdominal X-ray. Additionally, do you have any allergies to food substances like gluten? You can continue with both drugs, but please respond with the results of the laboratory tests.
