Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 29 years old, with a height of 5 feet 5 inches and a weight of 203 pounds. I have been experiencing loose motions (diarrhea) for more than 4 days. It is dark brown, sometimes with specks or small white grain-like structures. I also have gas issues. Two days ago, I took Flaygyl as part of my current medication. Yesterday, I felt pain in the left side of my chest. What should I do? Can I use Aspirin temporarily during the nighttime?

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern.

I am sorry to hear about your symptoms. Based on the information you provided, experiencing prolonged diarrhea for more than four days could indicate an underlying issue that requires medical attention. Additionally, chest pain should always be taken seriously and evaluated by a healthcare professional, as it could potentially be related to a heart or gastrointestinal problem. Using Aspirin without a doctor's recommendation is not advisable, especially if you are experiencing chest pain, as Aspirin can have side effects and interact with other medications. Paracetamol might be a better choice for pain relief, rather than Aspirin. Please prioritize your health and reach out to a healthcare professional who can provide an accurate diagnosis and an appropriate treatment plan based on your specific symptoms and medical history. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take the medicines with their consent.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
