Hello doctor,
I am a 25-year-old female, 170 centimeters tall, and weighs 170 pounds. I gave an oral to an escort three months ago, only for 30 seconds though but it was deep throat. I stopped as I noticed he had sore-looking spots all over his chest, he even had them on his face. I am worried about having contracted HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), No I have a rash on my chest, I feel tired all the time, and I have a sore throat, and spots on my forehead. Although, I do suffer from spots on my body from time to time. I think, me worrying about it, bringing them again. Is it possible to get HIV from him even if I gave him oral for 30 seconds only?

Transmission of HIV is possible through oral sex if there are any small lacerations or break in oral mucosa. All your worries will be answered if you get an HIV ELISA (enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) test now. If it is negative get a repeat test done and then repeat it after three and six months. Also get a VDRL (venereal disease research laboratory) test done. The rash can be due to several reasons, it can be diagnosed on with a detailed talk with you and photographs.
