Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I heavily used MDMA (Methylene-dioxymethamphetamine) from about 16 to 18 weeks, probably twice a week and up to four pills each time. I was using about four times a week, usually four pills each time during the week and up to 10 on weekends over 12-hour periods. I also mixed it with the use of LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) for about 12 months when I was about 22. I was injecting speed. That is my drug history. I am now 27 and have not used it for three years now. On occasion, I have used MDMA in those three years but very rarely. I do experience depression, anxiety and panic attacks. I would like to know if that level of drug abuse could be a reason for these conditions. . Is it possible that I have done serious damage? If so, what would be the best next step to get overcome this?

Thank you.
