Patient's Query

I have had a persistent issue with a small rough spot, dry skin, and cracks on the glans of my penis. The doctor diagnosed it as eczema and prescribed moisturizing cream and eczema-specific medication. However, these treatments did not show noticeable improvement. I have been maintaining hygiene by using warm water and staying hydrated, which has helped to some extent. Since I avoid using soap and focus on hydration, I am looking for additional suggestions to manage eczema, prevent rough skin, and reduce cracks. Any further advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern,

It seems you are having balanitis. Use Fudic cream and Lulibet cream local application twice daily.

I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Thank you for your reply

I have attached closer pictures of the affected area. The front part of the glans has rough scales. I clean them with a tissue and warm water, and the rough skin peels off, leaving a spot. The skin then regrows. I consulted a doctor five years ago, and he diagnosed it as eczema. He prescribed a fragrance-free moisturizing cream and an eczema cream; unfortunately, I do not remember the names. I kindly request you to carefully review the pictures and provide a treatment prescription with minimal side effects. I understand that returning to the natural state of the area may not be possible, but I hope for an improvement in the condition. Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hi

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If it is diagnosed as eczema, then you can use Ezemax ( Crisaborole ) ointment locally applied twice daily for seven days. Use it over and above Cetaphil moisturizer, but I would suggest treating it first for balanitis.

Thank you.
