Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 27 years, 178 cm height, 79 kg weight. I have totally lost the desire for sex and no erection and sex feeling even on touching a naked girl. After tuberculosis treatment, I lost my libido and unnoticed it. I used to masturbate since 12 years of age and no sex with a girl at all. When first time got on bed with my wife no excitement, no urge for sex and no erection too.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This can happen quite commonly during the beginning of sexual encounters, where you find yourself in a situation where you cannot perform well. Hence, you develop a fear that what if you will not be able to perform, subsequently, then what will happen. This worry is called performance anxiety. Also, medications can cause a reduced libido. Hence, you have to overcome this anxiety, give your body time to regain itself from the previous illness. You should talk actively with your spouse, discuss with her your problems, likes, fantasies. Maintain a healthy diet and regular workout. This will help you to perform well.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
