Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
How to gain the sensation back on the penis lost due to excess masturbation?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I am sorry to know about your problem. Masturbation is dangerous for the sexual arousal cascade. It causes changes in the neurological chains in the body causing erectile dysfunction, loss of sensation, early or delayed ejaculation, infertility, and prostatitis type IIIb. You are suffering from compulsive masturbation disorder, stage 4 or 5. I hope that it is only at stage 4 as it is reversible after some time.
In stage 5, it takes some years. But at this age, I am pretty sure that it is on stage 4. So the therapy is very straightforward and please do not practice masturbation, not even occasionally. Your hands should touch the penis only if there is a need when you use a toilet or when you clean yourself (20 seconds with a little amount of soap and cold water). Nightly ejaculations (wet dreams or night falls) during deep sleep are of no concern. If you do not regain control within four weeks, we should talk about a medical measures like hormone reduction or different type of surgeries. Get well soon.
