Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My right eye is swollen and painful when opening and closing because I touched it with dirty hands. I am using eye drops, but the pain and swelling have not subsided.
Could you suggest some medications for this issue?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
The swelling and pain in your eye could be due to an infection, an allergy, or an injury. I suggest you apply a warm compress to your right eye at least four times daily and take a combination tablet that contains Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase, provided you are not allergic to it. Additionally, please use only Moxifloxacin eye drops four times a day and avoid using any other eye drops. Consult a specialist doctor, talk with him or her and take medicines with their consent.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
