Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Since when is your child having fever? Meftal-P (Mefenamic acid) one tea spoon is a higher dose. I suggest you give him Ibugesic plus (a combination of Ibuprofen and Paracetamol) one tea spoon for fever. This can be repeated every six hours. Check his temperature 45 minutes after giving Ibugesic plus. If the temperature is rising, then give him Meftal-P one tea spoon. This can be repeated every eight hours. So, you have two fever medications which can be alternated and given if your child has fever spikes every three to four hours. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and start taking the medicines with their consent.

I hope you understood the above.

Thank you.
