Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My wife is recently pregnant, and we have been married for three months. She has an issue of low blood pressure and some gastric issues as well. Recently we visited a doctor, and he noticed uterus fibroid. I have the following questions:
1) Is uterus fibroid a result of pregnancy, or is it something a person can have from the beginning?
2) The doctor said that it might lead to the removal of the uterus, and so my married life would be affected. What can we do about it?
3) She also has low blood pressure and gastric issue. Should I be worried?
Please reply in detail as I am in so much tension.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
The fibroid you have is a big one, but it is not caused by pregnancy, and it can be taken out after your baby is born by an operation called myomectomy. Uterus removal is not required. It can happen right from the beginning. Take one capsule of Polybion (Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Folic acid, and Biotin) for low blood pressure once a day. As your hemoglobin is low, you have weakness. You should start Dexorange (Ferric Ammonium Citrate, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, and Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate) capsule once a day for a month after two months of pregnancy, or if you do not have nausea, you can start now. For gastric issues, you can take tablet Doxinate (Doxylamine and Vitamin B6) twice a day and Syrup Digene (Magnesium Hydroxide) two teaspoons thrice a day.
Consult your doctor, talk to them, and then take the medications.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thanks for your reply. We have taken one more test, and please see the report. In this there is no uterus fibroid visible. Could it be a mistake from the doctor, or has the fibroid gone by itself? Secondly, for low blood pressure and gastritis, does my wife need to take it throughout her life? Also, for low hemoglobin, the medicine prescribed should be taken throughout life?
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Yes, it could be a mistake as a 3 cm big fibroid cannot be gone so soon. And low blood pressure and gastritis medicines are not for life. Gastric issue is because of pregnancy. Same for hemoglobin medicine, it is not for life.
