Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

From the last one week, I am suffering from nose blockage, fever, sneezing, and coughing. And from yesterday, I got my periods also. So my body is feeling totally weak. I am unable to stand properly also and also have a reddish color in the throat. What to do doctor?

Answered by Dr. Albana Greca

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The symptoms you are having are suggesting of possible viral flu infection. If you have a reddish color in the throat, then it is possible bacterial tonsillitis. Should get further checked by your physician as might need prescription medications.

Meanwhile, you should take iron supplement together with drinking plenty of fluids. Use nasal saline spray to keep your nose unblocked. Apply cold balm on your chest and upper back to relieve congestion at night. Aerosol therapy can help together with taking anti-histaminic orally. Let me know if you have further queries. Wish fast recovery.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
