Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had abdominal pain for the past two weeks. When I underwent an ultrasound, a polypoid intraluminal mass of 2 centimeters was detected in my gall bladder along with hepatic infiltration. Please suggest something.
Hello,
Welcome you to icliniq.com.
I reviewed the attached reports (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), and they suggest high chances of gall bladder cancer. Therefore, I suggest you get computed tomography (CT) scan done with triphasic protocol and discuss the findings with your surgeon and me. The surgeon who is an expert in liver and gallbladder surgeries might do a biopsy of the mass after performing the CT scan. If you have pain, I suggest you take the capsule Tramol (Tramadol) 100 mg twice or thrice daily. In addition, it would be good to get a complete blood count (CBC), liver function tests (LFT), prothrombin time, and creatinine tests.
