Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have tooth gaps, and I want to know whether, by using the braces, these gaps can be filled or not. Also, I want to know how long it will take to fill the gaps. Gaps are at the upper front teeth and lower front teeth.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have looked over your question and understand your concern about your spacing. The gaps or spaces can be treated with braces (orthodontic appliances). It will take at least a year. If you have upper midline diastema (the gap between two upper front teeth), it takes time, and you may need a retainer after the braces are removed for the next six months. You need to consult an orthodontist for fixed orthodontic treatment.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
