Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

There is a pain in my stomach near the diaphragm. Pain aggravates suddenly after eating anything. Why so?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

The most probable causes include acidity and gastritis. Do you also experience nausea, bloating, burping, sour water feeling in your throat, or chest burning?

I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below.

1. Avoid fatty, oily, and spicy foods.

2. Have a walk after having food instead of taking a rest.

3. Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals.

4. Have enough sleep and avoid stress.

5. Eat lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits.

6. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

7. Take a tablet of Omeprazole (antacid) before breakfast once daily for two weeks.

8. For immediate pain relief, I suggest you take a tablet of Dicyclomine (antispasmodic) up to three times daily whenever needed.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.

Hope it helps.

Thank you.
