Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been experiencing a sharp twisting pain in my abdomen that comes and goes. I feel nauseous and my period is regular. What to do?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query.

The pain could be due to acidity and gastritis. Do you also have bloating, burping, an increase in pain while eating food, sour water feeling in your throat, or chest burning? Do you have any vaginal discharge?

I suggest you avoid a fatty, oily, and spicy diet. Have some walks after having food instead of taking a rest. Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress. Eat lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Avoid smoking and alcohol if any. I also suggest you take a tablet of Omeprazole (antacid) before breakfast once daily for two weeks.

For immediate pain relief, you can have an antispasmodic tablet of Dicyclomine whenever needed up to two or three times a day.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
