Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

As you stated you are experiencing sudden mass loss and body pain specially in gastric region, in order to reach a proper diagnosis you have to answer these questions:

1. Can you tell me more precisely what kind of pain is it? Does it feel crappy, sharp or stabbing?

2. Are you under some kind of stress?

3. Have you experienced a traumatic event recently?

4. Do you experience changes in bowel habits also? Did you experience loss of appetite in last few months?

5. Do you have any chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension / hypotension or underwent any surgery in past or a family history of any chronic illness?

6. Do you have a habit of smoking or drinking?

7. Did you have unprotected sexual intercourse with any stranger recently?

8. How much weight you have lost in last 2 months?

9. Do you have cough, fever, chest congestion or any swollen lymph node?

10. Do you have any dental problems or mouth sores?

11. Have you had constipation or diarrhea?

12. Are you urinating more than usual?

13. Have you lost any hair?

Provide more detail by answering these questions for a proper evaluatation as your BMI (body mass index) is only 15, which indicate underweight. And being too thin can contribute to a weakened immune system. From what you mentioned, I will advice you to not be in stress as some lifestyle modification and dietary changes will help you. Here is some information you need to know:

If in case you used to lift weights, or did other aerobic activities in the past and stopped suddenly, there are chances that it could be the sole reason. You need to keep a regular check on your weight as unintentional weight loss and abdominal pain can be due to a variety of condition. Gastrointestinal problems, kidney / liver disease, overuse of alcohol and drugs, stomach ulcer, depression, tuberculosis, AIDS, an overactive or underactive thyroid gland. Get back with more detail or if you have any further query.
