Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a twenty-five-year-old girl diagnosed with genital herpes three years ago and was put on acyclovir medication for six months, significantly decreasing the rashes. However, I continued to suffer wounds around and near the vaginal entrance and vulva. The itching became intense and noticeable. So I went to another doctor, who prescribed steroid creams and informed me that I had vaginal eczema. These lotions, however, failed to help me improve any of those illnesses and instead caused candidal infections. So I went to see a gynecologist, and they put me on antibiotics for a month since my boyfriend, and I tested positive for herpes. But, other than during my periods, I did not have any itching since. After all of this, my boyfriend and I eventually agreed to have sexual interaction, but I still get painful cuts in the vaginal area. These cuts persist for a few days and heal on their own. What kinds of doctor appointments should I make if I suspect I have a skin disease? Is it possible that it is lichen? I already had a biopsy a year ago, and nothing was found. Could it just be a skin problem? This has been an issue for far too long, and it makes me feel uncomfortable and unfeminine.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Your symptoms appear to be a mix of illness, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, a lack of physical activity, and incorrect repair of urogenital tissues. So treating with medications alone will not be beneficial; here are some approaches to overcome this disease. Completely abstain from all sexual activities, including masturbation. I recommend that you do pelvic floor strengthening exercises and yoga.

Take early walks.

Eat dates, beets, jaggery, green leafy vegetables, and bananas regularly.

Take the following medication:

Tablet. Itraconazole 200 mg (milligram) one tablet once per day.

Tablet. Bilastine (antiallergic medication), one tablet every day.

Tablet. Revital (multivitamin) females one tablet per day.

Use Candidox (anti-fungal) cream locally twice a day.

Apply an excellent moisturizing moisturizer on your skin. Every day, twice, one hour between creams.

After seven days, send a follow-up email.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
