Can severe headache, body ache, and fever be due to a viral infection?

Hello doctor,

I am a 40-year-old male; yesterday, I got a severe headache with body aches and a fever. I am afraid of COVID-19 spreading nowadays. What can be done to protect me from such kinds of infections? I also had a severe nausea sensation and got a throat infection without a cold. I think it is due to over-body heat. Is this a viral infection or just a sickness due to weakness in my body?

I believe you have developed a systemic inflammatory disease based on your symptoms. I do not think it is COVID-19 because COVID-19 comes with severe fever and difficulty in breathing. To protect from COVID-19, you can take the COVID-19 vaccine. Yes, the illness you have could be bacteria or viral infection, but can be distinguished when you do a test. Please do a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test, COVID-19, malaria, widal test, CBC (complete blood count) test, and throat swab test. Kindly take the following medications for now:

1 Tablet Acetaminophen 500 mg PO (per orally) three times a day.

2 Tablet Diclofenac 100 mg PO twice a day.

3 Tablet Artemether 100 mg PO twice a day.

4 Tablet Metronidazole 400 mg PO three times a day.

5 Capsule Co-Amoxiclav (Amoxicillin+ Clavulanic acid) 625 mg PO twice a day.

6 Tablet Acyclovir 800 mg PO twice a day.
