Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am an 18-year-old student. I have a headache that appears to be a brain ache. I believe my brain is rusty and wish to have it removed during a headache. I also have memory and study issues. This headache worsens whether I listen to something, perform physical labor, or change my head posture. Even a grin gives me a headache. The electroencephalogram and computed tomography (CT) results are normal. I hope you can provide me with some useful suggestions.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Please realize that there is no such thing as "brain ache." Because the brain lacks pain receptors, even if you insert a knife into it, you will not experience pain. As a result, the headache is always an external issue. Headaches are commonly caused by stress, mental disorders, eye difficulties, excessive blood pressure, and other factors. Your doctor should have told you about this during your EEG and CT scan. I am certain your physicians resolved the issues with your brain, high blood pressure, and eye strain. If not, have your blood pressure and vision examined. If such areas are clear, the next step is to deal with stress. You are a college student. There might be several teenage and educationally associated stressful difficulties. If you are pregnant, you may get headaches. Prolonged stress might result in anxiety disorders, which can induce headaches. First and foremost, you must recognize that your headache is not severe, and you will not be physically harmed or suffer death as a result of it. Maintain your cool. Do not freak out. Take it easy. I would like to speak with you. I recommend that you seek counseling.

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
