Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am an agency leader with a lot of work that lasts up to 17 hours. I was suggested to take Modalert 200 mg. After taking the medication, I have headaches, dry throat, vomiting, and toothache. So I consulted a pharmacist, who suggested taking a Pacimol active tablet. I use Modalert to enhance brain power and do more work on the night shift. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query, and I can understand your concern.

You are taking a high dose of Modalert (Modafinil) and hence have side effects of medication. I suggest you start with a low-dose Modalert 50 mg tablet. It must not be taken on an empty stomach. Do take rest as working for 15 hours daily could cause trouble in the future. Medicine will temporarily support you, but you will be exhausted for a long time.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.
