Patient's Query
Hi,
I am a 53-year-old diagnosed with Chiari 1.5, cervical pannus, and AR. I am undergoing treatment, but the symptoms are increasing daily. I have symptoms like headache, blurry vision, and burning shoulders. I feel like my head is in a bubble, and the loud noises from my head last for a few minutes. I feel dizzy all the time. My current medication includes Synthroid 112 Mcg, Calan 40 mg, Lozol 2.5, Prednisone 10 mg, Cymbalta, folic acid, vitamin B 12, Methotrexate 8 mL, and weekly Protonix. Please suggest something.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
Your details suggest that you have multiple problems. All these might be arising from a single disease that is headache (the nature of which you have not described very well). Anyways, the dizziness and lethargy you have been facing remain associated with the headache.
The blood reports show you have anemia (Hb 8.3 gm/dL) with iron deficiency.
I guess the Methotrexate is being given for the cervical pannus.
Considering all the facts, I would like to know that are you taking iron and folic acid?
Your main problem seems to be anemia, which will respond to iron and folic acid.
Thank you.
