Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 19-year-old female, and I weigh about 150 pounds. I have been experiencing severe headaches. Six months ago, I passed out at my job and had a seizure in the ambulance. A week ago, I experienced another episode of passing out and having seizures. I have also been feeling nauseated and vomiting.

Kindly help.

Hello,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern.

I would like to know further details about your problem, regarding headaches:

  1. Since when did you start experiencing headaches?
  2. In which areas of your head do you feel the headache, and where does it originate?
  3. What type of headache is it - heaviness, throbbing, stretching, bursting, shooting pain, electric current-like pain, or some other kind?
  4. Is the pain severe, moderate, or mild?
  5. Is the headache episodic or persistent? If episodic, how long does one episode typically last (from onset to complete relief without medication)?
  6. How frequently do these headache episodes occur, both before and now? How many times in a week?
  7. Do you experience vomiting, a feeling of vomiting, watering from the eye, redness in the eye, or nasal congestion during the headache?
  8. Have you noticed any trigger factors for these headaches?

Regarding passing out or seizures:

  1. What exactly happened during the passing out or seizure episode? What did you feel before and during the episode? If there was an eyewitness present, what body changes or movements did they observe during the episode?
  2. How long did you remain unconscious?
  3. Were you able to hear surrounding sounds during the episode?
  4. Did you experience urinary incontinence or tongue biting during the episode?

Additionally:

  1. How is your mood today?
  2. How is your sleep, and how is your vision?
  3. Have you ever undergone any tests for these headaches and seizures?
  4. Have you taken or are you currently taking any medications for these headaches and seizures?

Looking forward to your response in order to help you.

Thank you.
